Joanna began her nursing career in 2013 and has worked in a variety of specialities such as long term care, medical-surgical nursing, and then emergency medicine. After graduating from the Catholic University of America with her Master’s Degree in Nursing - Family Nurse Practitioner in 2020, she went on to pursue a career in Orthopedic Surgery at Rhode Island and the Miriam Hospitals. Joanna continues to work in Orthopedics as a Surgical First Assist Nurse Practitioner and also maintains her clients at Radiant Esthetics Medspa as an Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and holds Board Certifications as an Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner and Emergency Medicine Nurse.
